Staircase to Ajanta Caves
After we got off the shuttle bus, we had to climb a staircase of about 300m to reach the first cave. There were actually two paths, the stairs as you see in the picture or an uphill path. Obviously, it was a much shorter distance to travel by the stairs. Just when I began to wonder, I saw that you can hire four people to lift you on a chair for uphill climb.
