Incredibly Bad Idea #245

I want to do a night skate this Saturday in Montreal to Resto La Banquise for some of their famous poutine. That's the night before a race on early Sunday morning.

Our schedule for this Montreal weekend is already quite full with a birthday dinner lined up on Saturday evening and most likely lunch at Schwartz's for post-race smoked meat fueling. But the fact that I never had poutine in Montreal in the numerous times I visited is starting to really bother me.

Dilemma!!!

I am 100% sure that we are going to get you poutine before you leave the city. Where ever there is smoked meat, there is bound to be gooey fries and cheese. It is so gross...I have no idea why you want it so bad. blech.

Well Cor, here's something that may be a little hard to explain. Between my two blogs Dessert By Candy and Dream Chaser On Wheels, there's a bit of a Jekyll & Hyde going on. In a nutshell, the athlete and the foodie side of me have very different priorities when it comes to food. It's not so much about stuffing myself with poutine from just anywhere...more like "I know this place has one of the best poutines in the city, I want to find out for myself". :D Otherwise, why would there be any dilemmas?

(Oh and don't you start dissing poutine LOL)
